BENJAMIN ANDERSON BASHEIN
Executive Director, The Skatepark Project
Benjamin Anderson Bashein is the Executive Director of The Skatepark Project, formerly known as the Tony Hawk Foundation. A social impact executive with more than 20 years of experience, he has worked with community-based, national and international health, human rights, youth development and arts organizations. Benjamin is on the Board of Directors of Gotham Park, and became involved with the organization as an early supporter of their efforts to see the historic Brooklyn Banks skate space renovated and reopened to the public after more than a decade of disuse. He shares Gotham Park's passion for ensuring that all New Yorkers have access to free, safe, accessible outdoor recreation, and that the City's public spaces are stewarded for the benefit of its citizens.
